Mery Andrade is a former professional basketball player and current assistant coach for the Birmingham Squadron of the NBA G League (affiliated with the New Orleans Pelicans). She played five seasons in the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA), sixteen years in pro leagues overseas, and almost two decades for the Portuguese National Team.

She is a well-known athlete, better known by the family name Mery Elizabeth Fernandes de Andrade. She began her professional career after completing her formal education at Old Dominion University. Even in the men’s league, Andrade holds her own. In a male-dominated sport, she uses her comprehensive experience to help players reach their full potential and rise to the next level.

In 2009, she founded Andrade Basketball Camp (ABC) Evolution, which focuses on player development from a personal and skill level. Compared to an average basketball camp, ABC Evolution gives athletes with less visibility the opportunity to demonstrate their skills and connect with top American and European league coaches. Come join us at ABC Evolution today.
